WHAT IS WAZWAN?

In literal terms, Wazwan means ‘cook-shop’ but it actually represents the lavish, multi-course Kashmiri cuisine. Wazwan has been rightly called the ‘King of Feasts’, it is an exquisite cuisine which has a 600-year-old closely guarded recipe, Traditionally there are 18-36 dishes in the wazwan prepared from lamb and chicken with many herbs and spices without preservatives. Wazwan is generally prepared by professional cooks called “wazas”. Wazwan is typically not made in a home kitchen.

HOW MANY DISHES OF WAZWAN DO YOU MAKE?

At present we make about 13 dishes. We plan on adding more to the menu in 3-6 months, depending upon our surveys and customer demand. Stay tuned and subscribe to our newsletter for updates.

ANY SPECIAL WAY TO HEAT OR EAT THE WAZWAN?

All packages will have heating and warming instructions, follow them and serve. We insist that wazwan be served hot.Wazwan tastes best if maintained at a higher temperature.

WHERE DO YOU MAKE THE WAZWAN?

We make it right here in the Midwest in our professional hygienic state of the art factory. We have been able to harvest the recipe and have been trained by the master chefs to bring you the authentic wazwan.

WHAT KIND OF MEAT DO YOU USE IN YOUR PREPARATION?

We use premium 100% halal Lamb and chicken in our preparations. All meat is USDA certified.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU CATER WAZWAN FOR AT ONE TIME?

You can order wazwan for up to 100 people anytime on the website,if your party exceeds 100 people we recommend that you contact us by phone, text or email to discuss the details. We have the capability and capacity of preparing wazwan for 500-1000 people with 5 days notice.

Shipping Information

HOW DO YOU SHIP THE WAZWAN?

The wazwan comes vacuum sealed in different containers and insulated boxes or containers depending on the size of the order. We use dry ice and gel packs along with other innovative technologies to maintain the temp during the shipping process, The wazwan is typically shipped within 24 hours of the order, and can be expected at your doorstep about 2-3 business days on the east coast and Midwest and about 3-4 days on the west coast.

Please call us at 786.724.4400, you will be charged expedited shipping, but we will try our best to get it to you.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

We will send you a tracking number within 24 hours of shipping.

WILL YOU STORE MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER?

No, we have third party vendors like authorize.net and stripe that will handle all that info, we just provide a link to these secure vendors.

DO YOU RUN  PROMOTIONS?

Yes, we do, we will send you periodic sale and other promotional offers.

WHAT IS THE COST OF SHIPPING?

Great news, right now the shipping is FREE, yes FREE, we are running this as a promotion and will be revisited at a later time depending on carrier rates, season etc.

WHAT MODE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major credit cards, paypal. Checks are accepted only for orders on more than 100 people.

SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY ORDER, THIS IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED?

Heating Instructions:

Kababs:
Arrange all Kababs in Foil trays sprinkle some gravy or a very light sprinkle of water over it .fully cover with aluminum foil, then heat inside the oven at 350-400F for 5-10 minutes till hot and steamy.
Goshtabs and Ristas:
Make sure gravy is fully thawed before boiling ristas/goshtabs, ristas/goshtabs have been compressed and can expand up to 2.5 times the size while heating, so make sure you have large enough container for same, make sure you boil Ristas/Goshtaabs for at least 10-15 mins please add 10-15% water to account for water loss in shipping.
TabakhMaaz:
Heat in open oven tray/pan till crispy (low heat )
Chicken/DhaniPhol:
Heat in oven tray/pan covered with aluminum foil, after basting with supplied red gravy and sprinkling a hint of salt. For all gravies, you may add about 10% of water during heating to account for the water loss during shipping.

IMPORTANT: WAZWAN SHOULD NEVER BE SERVED COLD, NOT EVEN WARM, IT HAS TO BE SERVED HOT.
